Organizational History
Founded in 2018 under Governor Matt Mead’s ENDOW initiative, ENGAGE was created to give younger Wyomingites a voice in building a diversified state economy. The organization evolved from a state-supported summit into a community-driven force, eventually transitioning into a 501(c)3 nonprofit to ensure its long-term impact. Over the years, the group has navigated leadership changes and the COVID-19 pandemic while maintaining its focus on gathering qualitative data to inform state policy. Currently led by President Marissa Carpio as of 2025, ENGAGE continues to empower the next generation of leaders in Wyoming.
